Progress on the
Lynx Service Shooter M4x20 riflescope has been
steady but slower than expected. Ongoing
refinements on the new design has caused
delivery to slip several months.
As can be seen in
these photographs the new scope is mounted much
lower than the original on an integrated mount
machined as one piece with the main tube.
The mount clamp is fastened by three 4mm
hex-headed bolts, which in conjunction with a
steel square profile recoil stop holds the scope
absolutely rigid on a Picatinny / 1913 base.
Updates on availability of the
new M4x20b and any changes that may be in the
pipeline will be posted on this page from time
to time.
Thoughts and ideas on
improving the new scope are most welcome.
