(A) Plex
Standard in all Lynx riflescopes unless otherwise stated.
The “Plex” reticle is fitted as standard to most Lynx riflescopes. It
gives the hunter elementary range-finding capability by representing
15 or 30 inches at 100 yards at 4x magnification across the thin centre
section. A list of shoulder heights for 12 game animals and conversion
tables for magnification other than 4x is available for download from
this site. |

iPlex
Standard in Lynx LX2 non-military illuminated reticle
riflescopes. iPlex is a Plex reticle with a pinprick sized
illuminated aim point at the centre intersection of the reticle.
This reticle cannot be fitted to anything
except illuminated LX2 model
riflescopes. |

(B) NATO RF
Can be fitted to any Lynx Professional
"P" riflescope.
The NATO ranging reticle is calibrated for use on human targets but
hunters can work out their own methods for ranging game animals.

(C) MIL DOT
Can be fitted to most Lynx riflescopes.
Calibrated in mil-dots for ranging purposes.
Mil dot spacings are available in 10x,
12, 16x and 24x sizes, depending on the scope model.

(D) Fine Cros Hair
Can be fitted to most Lynx riflescopes.
Best suited to target shooters who require very fine aiming
reference. Not suitable for hunting. |

(E) Fine Cross with Dot
Can be fitted
to most Lynx riflescopes. Best suited to target shooters who
require very fine aiming reference. Not suitable for hunting. |

(F) Mil Step
Can be fitted to any LX or LX2 model
riflescope. Reticle style that satisfies the needs of both
hunters and target shooters in addition to presenting the shooter
with a clean and accurate range-finding sight-picture. Reticle
lines step down in thickness at 1 MIL increments at 24x.

(G) Hold-Over
Can be fitted to any LX or LX2 model
riflescope. Nine hold-over aiming points below the centre
cross provide an accurate means of compensating for bullet drop over
100 to 400 metres without touching the scope. The diamond-shaped
aiming points are small and unobtrusive, presenting an uncluttered
sight-picture that does not confuse the eye.
